What is Champions

This is Naruto Champions, a callback to an earlier designed online forum "Play by Post" or PbP RPG. We hope to simulate an updated form of the original game.

The Plot of Naruto Chronicles

The story of the game takes place in an Alternate Universe within the realm of the Naruto Series. The Great Ninja Wars never happened, rather the villages and lands have always been divided. The tech is modern series tech (Ninja tools, TV, etc). There are no current Kage, and they will be needing strong shinobi to take charge. As it stands, all villages are neutral to one another, no one seems to have the edge in power right now. Trade is fair, but could always be better between the villages, no one side is willing to pull the trigger on a major conflict right now.

Chapter 1 The Rise of the Kage

During the Beta, there will be a selection process which will determine the new Kage of each village. The Kage should be the strongest Shinobi, as it is the duty of the Kage to protect the village, assign special missions, and to maintain relationships between villages. The Kage has the power to outcast Shinobi, thus creating Missing Shinobi, who do not follow the laws of their land, and accept new shinobi banished by other villages. Take heed, the responsibility of the Kage is a heavy burden.
